The work

Recognised.
Australia’s evidence-led awards for the businesses, teams and systems advancing eCommerce.
Try the evidence test.
This simplified teaching tool demonstrates one principle: evidence carries more weight than unsupported claims. Real entries are assessed by the full panel against the complete published criteria—not by this shortcut.
Project Northstar
A scaling Australian retailer claims a major improvement in customer experience and commercial performance.
Useful context. Important gaps remain.
The lesson is evidence over claims. A real entry would be reviewed by the full judging panel against every applicable criterion and weighting.
Where does your work belong?
The final 2026 category architecture is still TBC. These illustrative directions show how each category can connect to a real eCommerce capability and a clearly published evidence standard.
eCommerce Business of the Year
Whole-of-business excellence across customer, commercial, operational and leadership performance.
Customer Experience
Journey design, service quality, trust, accessibility, retention and measurable customer value.
Fulfilment Excellence
Reliable delivery, inventory accuracy, returns, customer communication and scalable operations.
Growth
Profitable, sustainable growth backed by attribution, customer value and commercial discipline.
Innovation
A new solution to a meaningful customer or operational problem—not innovation theatre.
Emerging Retailer
Early-stage Australian businesses building strong foundations, not simply chasing rapid growth.
Nothing happens behind a curtain.
Scroll through the assessment engine. Each stage has a purpose, a documented owner and a clear output.
The gate
Australian ownership and operating eligibility are checked before judging begins. Ineligible entries never enter the scoring pool.
Claims split from proof
Judges assess the evidence supplied, not the confidence of the writing. Unsupported statements are treated differently from substantiated results.
Conflicts reroute
Commercial, personal or advisory relationships trigger recusal. A conflicted judge does not see or score that entry.
Independent first
Judges score entries independently against the published criteria before any panel discussion or moderation takes place.
Consistency checked
Panels review scoring variance, challenge unsupported conclusions and make sure the standard has been applied consistently.
Feedback and record
Every completed entrant receives a scored feedback summary. Awarded statuses become public records linked to the official Proofmark.

Not a logo you buy. A status you earn.
Winning is not the only valuable result.
The entry fee pays for structured assessment and meaningful feedback—not proximity to a trophy.

Evidence was strongest in service recovery and weakest in retention attribution.
